Stilllearning Can't wait for the Long Walk
Hi all,



So yesterday I fell asleep fine and dandy. I wake up 2.5hours later from a really weird dream. I don't know if the dream was from the Lord, but I am glad it woke me up. It was kinda disturbing and was upset that I awoke from it but again so glad I did. As I sat at my computer staring at the screen and thinking about what to search I got pissed at myself and why it had taken me so long to even ask God why my dream happened. I go through my usual sites I hit up facebook, email and then I scroll through my favorite sites and my eye are targeted for DAB.

I was excited for the long walk, but something was missing. I went through the forum threads and ended up in the Long Walk section. I read maybe five or six posts, I am so so thankful that I did and I am so so ready for my Walk with Christ. I doubt that it was God who gave me the dream, but he has just reassured me that once again he is ALWAYS here to make things better. Took a LW last year, but I will def update everyone on how this years went and Ill try to get some photos in here. If you read all this thanks, and Thanks for everyone's '08 long walks!! They helped me a year after they took place in your life.

Hello back at cha Matthew,

I missed 08 long walk due to a bit of depression and too much sleeping. My moms birthday is on 7/7 and she passed away not very long ago on 5/30 @ 7:45 EST. What was my point here.. humm..?

...Oh, OK, I did not really know where to go or what to do. But this year, 09 I will start out with taking my bible and going to the beach to watch the sunrise! ...And then see if the Lord will speak to me and show me where to go and how to listen to him. I have trouble in that area. I can't seem to hear Jesus talking to me. or maybe it that I just don't know how to listen. He says, The sheep hear my voice and follow Him. (See John 10)

But I just can't hear Hin. Anyways, Hope you have a great LW and may that day be blessed for you & for all here at DAB

I think thats the best thing you can do man. I know its very hard for me to hear him during a busy day, but early mornings really help me get in touch. Jesus did it so I guess we should too. God is good, let me know how it goes man.
