cyndee Subject of Pride.....'The I'
I am really really hearing this teaching for the first time...though I listened last year it was a ephemeral experience.

In order to really know what the bible teaches on pride you have to be at that place in your life where the word seed gets sown on good fertile ground.

Pride is such a destructive element in our make up and is the very core of many of the decisions that we make.

when I reached that portion of the lesson, as the teacher encouraged us to prayerfully ask the Lord to bring to our memory instances, I recognised how deeply deeply rooted in my core pride has become a stronghold.....even when I thought I was doing good - was I really and who for?? I began to remember decisive moments and lies I had told on numerous occasions, battles i had fought for my own benefit....the list goes on and on and on....

I just want to say thank you for the openness and realism that you have emphasised during the teaching..... I really also grapsed the teaching on renewal.. not being instantaneous - but that we are being (in the process of....) transformed by the renewal of our mind - which only comes about through spending time in the word of God.

Thank you thank you.
