mlm understanding
I have been arround the Bible most of my life. I have read the Bible in parts. I have studied the Bible in parts. I have never studied or read the Bible from beginning to end. I have never heard the Bible read from beginning to end. It has been life changing in that for the first time I have an understanding I never had before. Sure I know certian Bible verses and I can make application to them for daily living. But until I heard the Bible read from beginning to end I never had a solid relationship with the Author, God, the Word, Jesus. After listening to the Word of God everyday my life has changed. I no longer look at the Bible as a book of rules to follow in order to get to heaven when I die. I no longer have to worry if I am being good enough. It has an influence on me. I want to live a holy, pure, godly life because of the joy I recieve in knowing God in an intimate way everyday. Bathing each day in the water of the Word. I go to church now, not to learn something new, but to sharpen the knowledge I now have. It has given me a ministry to reach out to anyone who does not know God. I don't tell anyone to change there life for the good, I tell them to listen to the DAB. From there God will lead. They will know what to do, where to go, how to do it, when to do it and why. Being a student of God's Word is a simple as tuning in and reading along. It cannot be simpler than that. I challenge any one or any church who needs better Bible understanding to tune in and listen, God will do the rest.
