Exodus 23:14-25:40 ~ Matthew 24:29-51 ~ Psalm 30:1-12 ~ Proverbs 7:24-27   So it is interesting and it is important to look at what God is saying to Moses as he predicts their coming into the Promised Land.  He is saying, “You’re going to take this land.  You will have this land.  I have promised this to you.  You will take this land.  You’re not just going to cross over and everybody is just going to be wiped out and gone in the snap of a finger.  It isn’t going to work that way.  Little by little I’m going to drive them out before you, because if I just wipe them out before you now or let you go in and just tear it up, well, everything is going to go to spoil.  The land will go to weeds.  The cities will crumble.  Everything before you will just disappear because you are not great enough at this point to take the land and fully possess it.  Little by little, though, little by little, you are going to drive them out because I’m going to drive them out before you and you’ll rise in stature and be able to take little by little all the things I promised you.”     Alright, that’s really important in our lives because so often we get a vision for what God is calling us to do.  We get a very, very clear vision of it or we get a dream and we want it now...now!  We can see it.  We can taste it.  We can smell it.  We don’t want systematic increase.  We want to go in and knock it out of the park.  We want to hit a home run right off the bat.  God is saying, “No, I’m not going to…that’s not how I do things.  Little by little, as you can handle the increase, as I have grown you into the maturity that you are going to need and resourced you with what you’ll need to succeed, well, little by little we’ll take this.”    This couldn’t be more poignant in our lives, because it requires a number of things, the first being faith, the second being trust, and the third being patience.  These things are all required to work in tandem.  We must have faith that God will do what he says he’ll do.  We must walk with him trusting the Almighty and keep our hands off the stuff.  We must just walk into the increase he has given us and steward it well and not be reaching for the cookie jar, not trying to get out in front of him and saying, “C’mon, God.  C’mon!  I’ve got these bulldozers ready.  We’re right up here ready to go.  C’mon!”  And then just decide to start them up and start plowing, not realizing we are absolutely destroying his plan.  The third is patience.  We will need to simply rest in God.  It is his divine order.  He will increase us as we have increase to handle it.  Anything less would put us in a position to fail.  Anything less would be unloving.  So it really does require some discipline, really requires that we trust God and do well in the assignment he has given us currently.    Prayer:  Jesus, that is our desire.  We are getting over ourselves rapidly because your word really reveals a servant’s heart.  So we who have been a selfish people who have expected things to work in our favor no matter what and have demanded as much of you.  We repent from that.  We step aside and follow rather than trying to lead you around as some magic genie or some Santa Claus.  We’re sorry.  It’s embarrassing, honestly.  It’s embarrassing what we’ve tried to pull.  It’s really embarrassing the level of maturity that we’ve exhibited before you.  We should have been so much farther down the road, but your grace, your grace is so beautiful, so undeserved.  You are so wonderful.  So we accept your forgiveness, we accept your grace.  By doing so, we rise in stature, realizing you have a destiny for us and it’s won over time.  Little by little we’ll take the land that you have given us and that you have promised to our lives.  So when we humble ourselves, as the book of 1 Peter says, under your mighty hand, we know that in due season you will lift us up.  In the meantime, we are so fine just being here in your will, whatever that looks like, wherever that is and wherever that is going.  Just being with you is enough.  Just knowing you is too wonderful to understand.  Just loving you and in return receiving your love, that’s just mind-boggling.  So we rest in you.  Guide our steps, we pray, in the name of Jesus, amen.   www.dailyaudiobible.com is the website.  You are invited to get as involved as you can and will.  I will remind you that we have the Coffee~Justice~You program that we will likely run this entire year.  We have partnered with Mission Coffee Roasters in Baltimore and they have created for us an exclusive blend called the WindFarm Blend and it is absolutely delicious.  For me, my money is on it.  That is the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had because it is not over-roasted.  It tastes delicious and it is fresh.  You can buy that at the Daily Audio Bible store or you can subscribe to have it delivered to you each month.  The proceeds from the coffee sales go into our justice issue this year which is human trafficking.  I’m not sure we could be any more passionate about that.  We are making a difference.  We have made a difference together and if you want to hear the latest update on that, you can just kind of scroll back and listen to the WindFarm Live podcast either at BlogTalkRadio.com/Daily Audio Bible or right here in the feed.  I released it, I guess, the day after we did it which was January 26.  So that will give you an update on what we have partnered in so far and where we’re going.  The Coffee~Justice~You raises money for human trafficking issues and you get a delicious, amazing cup of coffee to boot.  So every time you take a sip, you’ve done good.  It is Fair Trade coffee through and through and the proceeds go to human trafficking, so every sip you take is a good thing to enjoy.   If you want to partner with the Daily Audio Bible, either as an intercessor or financially, you can do that at the website.  There is a link that allows you to partner with the Daily Audio Bible right on the home page.  If you prefer, the mailing address is P.O. Box 1996, Spring Hill, TN 37174.    That’s it for today.  I’m going to enjoy deeply, drink from the fountain of beauty in nature today while contemplating and seeking the Lord.  So thank you for your prayers for safety in travel, for clarity of vision, and for peace of mind.  I pray those same things over you.    If you have a prayer request or comment, (877) 942-4253 is the number to call.   That’s it for today.  I love you all.  I’m Brian and I’ll be waiting for you here tomorrow.
